Why Safari beats fake apps

Save to camera roll
Apple makes things a little different. When you download a video in Safari, it goes to your "Downloads" folder in the Files app. To get it into your Camera Roll, just open the video in Files, tap the Share button, and hit "Save Video". Then it shows up in your Photos app!

It went to the Files app on your phone. Look for the folder called Downloads.
How do I put it in my Photos app?
Open the video in the Files app, tap the little Share icon at the bottom, and click "Save Video".
Do I need to get the Shortcuts app?
No. New iPhones can just download things from Safari naturally.
Why is the video just playing instead of downloading?
If you have an old iPhone, you might need to tap and hold the download button, then pick "Download Linked File".
